1 June: Wednesday
meeting with adrian

5 June: Sunday
did school work, met brittany at the cafe, went and hung out with brittany and becky at the pub, tutored.

6 June: Monday
on campus, MB staff meeting, bowling and casino night out

11 June: Saturday
dinner and evening out with Brittany and Jane-Marie. Discovered a good mexican restaurant, tried to hear live music, had deliciouis dessert.

13 June: Monday
meeting with Adrian about new research project ideas. Created bundle of work to quickly do.

14 June: Tuesday
while reading research articles, found exciting links to what i want to study

15 June: Wednesday
shared exciting idea/model with adrian but still had mountain of work to do
saw Pirates movie with Brittany, Becky, and Cath. Hung out at the pub.

16 June: Thursday
meeting with adrian about the 3 new projects (probably almost more questions than answers, but good checkin before the weekend/ tuesday's scheduled meeting)

17 June: Friday
took the train to newcastle to meet up with alison. Got good work done on the train ride. Went to the art museum, then met alison to go to the castle keep and lunch, went to a museum in afternoon. then did work at the hotel and had takeaway since she had to go to a conference thing.

18 June: Saturday
Went to the largest mall in england (ugh), saw the angel of the north, went to alnwich and to the largest second hand bookshop in the uk.

19 June: Sunday
went to alnich castle, went to lindisfarne, stopped at the england/scotland border, came back to edinburgh

20 June: Monday
went to campus to do work while alison went to town, went with alison to the loch leven castle. laughed at alison while she dealt with her suitcases at the airport. saw her off

21 June: Tuesday
had a meeting with Adrian that was good. Decided we should have a meeting the next day with actual drafts of the questionnaire since he could be there (before going to florida). had lots of work to do on the questionnaire measure drafting which brittany helped out with (amazing help)

22 June: Wednesday (and yesterday)
had the meeting with Adrian. We went over the questionnaire drafts and he made some edits and then we decided to check into 3 entirely different-in-addition-to-what-i'm-doing-giant-topics-of-psychology concepts to add to the work. so i thought i had basically created the questionnaires, but now have the equivalent pile of work that i have done this week still to do (hence not feeling like i'm moving forward). but he certainly has left me with more than enough to do while he's in florida and then china. lots and lots to do!
went to the bank and to the buspass people.
Had an afternoon of trying to get a dinner plan together which ended up working out. So becky, brittany, and cath and i went to the good mexican place and then heard some live music at a pub for a bit. a very lovely evening.

and now it's today. and there's blogging that's being accomplished and pictures being uploaded and things getting checked off the 'life' side of the to-do list (and did some stuff of the 'school' to-do list as well this morning). trying to get organized to set up some goals for myself to keep my work all on track for the months of june and july and august. made a giant wall calendar that's ready to be filled in with marathon training and schoolwork. hopefully it'll keep everything on track.

a re-start with organization. a buss pass to accommodate my proposed training (next task is to look at registering and getting to the marathon in august) and if this blog is up to date and if i stay on top of the research one. it looks like it will be a prosperous summer.
