having the trip to india in the middle of my training schedule wasn't the perfect 'planning' but that was how it ended up. it just meant that after coming back from india, i really had to focus.
i did a lot on campus, which i am glad worked out as a place to go to the gym and to skate. i have to admit it's boring going around in the same loops again and again, but i dont have much of a choice. i'd like to have gone to crammond more, but with that on the water and the strong winds and ever threatening rain, it's hard to skate here.
but as i was skating, i got to the point where i felt that i would be able to finish if things were going alright. and that was what i was really worried about. there was one day where it became more of a real possibility and that was a great feeling.
i never did a full 26 miles in the training. but i knew i could do the distance, it was just my fears about the time limit.
