brittany was given 2 free tickets to a play from the fringe. so luckily it was the last day on saturday and we were able to go. it was a somewhat strange play, but interesting. very abstract. had amazing music as a part of it. i don't think that i would have chosen it had i read the description and been buying tickets, but i'm glad we went.
after we thought we'd make it to the library, but it was closed. however as we passed espionage, a guy handed me a flyer for a comedy show. it was a pair of guys doing musical comedy and since the library was closed and the show was starting in a few minutes, we made a quick decision to attend. i'm so glad we did, because it was the best comedy of the three we saw during the festival.
went to darren's undersound gig with becky in the evening. a couple folks from monkey bizness were there including tattie who i haven't seen in months. was a bit amusing as there was a lady who was at least 7 feet tall there to watch as well as another crazy character or two. the music was alright - beginning acts weren't but the last 2 were good. although it was really odd to hear scotland and glaswegian accents.
