registration

went to heriot watt today. checked in on my online questionnaires. (sadly found a mistake i had to fix again, but i guess it's better to see it now then even later.)

had to register online, so i figured i'd do that while on campus in case there were any issues. yup, totally called that one. not one issue, but two. one being that it re-registered me for year one and not year two. and problem two (which i knew would be because jane-marie told me it was wrong on hers) is that the fee is incorrect. and, not surprisingly, the student services centre couldn't fix either problem. so hopefully that all gets sorted. i've emailed and done my part so who knows.

also made more copies of my questionnaires to get people in the next few weeks. and set up my undergrad studies participation opportunities things.

then for a fair number of hours, i was dealing with data things using spss. that's a time sucker for sure. but it'll be good in the long run. since i figured out which items i needed to recode and which need to be grouped together for subscales. so i guess that's a bit of something accomplished on campus for the day.
