thursday
08 september.
went back to the doctor's office on campus as the doctor wanted to run some blood tests. so i saw a nurse. as i came in i saw she was going to try my left arm, and i out of instinct asked if it mattered that i was left handed (a reaction from getting shots i guess). she said it didn't and i also then offered the information that i'd been told i have tiny veins.
so she tried my left arm and that didn't work. so then she stuck me in my right arm and was moving the needle around. that one was more painful than when she tried the left arm. and suddenly i was very light headed and felt like i was going to pass out. so she hadnt gotten anything and took the needle out to have me lie down.
so then she had another nurse try my right arm again. she didn't have any luck. so now i have to go back on tuesday.
and deal with hurt and bruised arms with no gain of blood actually being taken. they gave me some cream to numb my arms for when i come back and whatever, but hopefully they'll be able to take my blood without too much more pain. my arm still hurts.
