a. 6 hours of working at monkey bizness.
b. plans to go out for drinks with ameer. we were supposed to meet at the bobby statue, but of course ameer was late. no worries though because as i was waiting i met a harpist/music teacher from south carolina. he was quite nice and we had a lovely chat. i helped him take a picture of him and his harp in front of the bobby statue and then walked down to help him out in front of the jk rowling elephant house cafe place. some guy convinced to play a tune outside the cafe, and it was nice to chat with him about teaching and music and things.

then ameer and i went over to kal and amanda's. it was a fun evening. even had a bit of a delicious curry.

had a bit of a struggle finding a place in town to go out, but after the 3rd attempt i went home.

it was really nice to hang out with ameer. i'm glad that he's been teaching (and therefore not stuck at monkey bizness) but i dont often get to see him. so that was cool.
