pretty much the same thing each day. attempt to get participants with dwindling numbers of possible people and then go to my job at the after school club. i'm trying to really learn a few kids names by interacting with them each day so hopefully i'll get everyone soon.
got interrogated to see if i was taliban by a troublemaker kid on tuesday. he's going to be a handful. and made a bracelet of beads and played cards with some girls on thursday. it's really not a hard job. group babysitting i've decided to classify it as.
did go to a cool book festival event on tuesday. unbound is what it was called. they're doing it every night and i wish i would have gone every night. it was music and readings mixed. heard about 5 pieces. and 3 were good. the last one was awesome. this lady's piece was about the sounds of the city becoming alive. really well done. i enjoyed that. think we're going to go to the one on monday as well which may be more stand up than readings but hopefully it'll also be good.
went to the pub on thursday with becky and brittany to celebrate becky's first day of college. i'm super excited for her to start college and a floristry programme. super neat and i'm proud of her for going to school and actively taking steps away from monkey bizness to create her future job dreams.
