saturday.
last monkey bizness shift. whoo. it was just like any other day a 9-4 on reception all day. but i suppose i did have a better attitude about it knowing i wouldn't have to do it again. even got a few surveys done by some coworkers.
becky pretty appropriately came to tell me my shift was done by saying 'thanks for working at monkey bizness' and then it seemed a bit odd. not really too much attachment to the job though so yeah. glad to be done with that.
decided to take advantage of the fringe festival go see some free comedy in the evening. jane-marie, brittany and i saw two different acts at espionage. that place is a maze of levels - truly a display of tenament living above and below ground in edinburgh (i hadn't been in there before). the comedy shows were alright. had some good moments but weren't great the whole way through. but it was free and nice to partake in the festival as an audience member and not just as someone trying to get people to do my research.
