brittany arrived. yay. we went to the big lebowski themed pub a block away for dinner. i had a burger, and promptly remembered that i was in the uk eating a uk burger.
4 october (monday)
job searching online. boo job searching.
5 october (tuesday)
went to sit in on adrian's class.
did some reading to prepare and things.
on monday or tuesday while walking around the city, we passed a theatre and bought some tickets for two events coming up in the month which should be good. it's nice to walk around the city.
6 october (wednesday)
did reading to prepare for my meeting with adrian.
went to the 'trash clang' ensemble at heriot watt with brittany. drumming on random things. not as structured of a thing as i'd hoped, but allows me to do something musical
7 october (thursday)
had a good meeting with adrian. tried to go to the nanowrimo meeting but we didn't find the place so instead we got library cards at the main library and checked out books.
8 october (friday)
had an interview with active schools at a not-too-far primary school. to be a coach. first i need a crb check...again...apparently scotland doesnt want to accept an england one. boo. then i'll assist and then i could coach. but at least it was something possible. and sounds fun.
