brittany and i went for a walk down princes street and had milkshakes at wannaburger

13 monday
school was on holiday so i went to campus
had orchestra rehearsal

14 tuesday
went to the gym and was at campus to do work. unfortunately i spent most of the morning writing a report to send to the people at curtin instead of the work i wanted to be doing. stupid progress report but anything to actually get me there i'll do...

15 wednesday
worked one day at oscars holiday club. we went on a field trip to the glasgow science centre. was a cool museum but we hardly had any time there. and watched a 3d imax animation about going to the moon. the kids liked it and it was nice to go on a field trip even if it was short.

16 thursday
went to the gym and worked on campus. spent the morning fixing some errors in my *upcoming* POM journal article for the copy editor, which while annoying is also very exciting. because it has to mean that soon it will be in print.

17 friday
went to the gym and worked on campus. had been frustrated because i couldn't get adrian's help throughout the week, but managed to talk to him on the phone and within the first few sentences could no longer be upset. was great to talk to him. told him where i was at, about my paper being accepted for conference presentation, and had my questions answered about what i was trying to figure out during the week. of course he was leaving that day to go off to australia so it had to be a catch-all chat. but in that, it was again clear how much him as my supervisor really is a thing.

18 saturday
tried to upload photos and update files and things on the computer.
went with brittany to jane-marie's flat. we made ice cream (mint oreo) in her new ice cream maker. and played some cards. it was lots of fun and very tasty.
